The IR(R) IMC Course is an imporant addition to your Private Pilots Licence, and will really boost your confidence knowing you are sufficiently trained to deal with unpredictable weather events.
Students partaking in the IMC course are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of flight instruction, with 10 hours of pure instrument flying.
In addition to the flying elements of this course, students are also required to complete a written ground examination prior to taking their final skills test.
On successful completion of your final skills test, you will be issued with an IMC rating which can then be applied to your private pilots licence.

Fly-LSA is based at London Oxford Airport, an airport widly known in the aviation community for the quality of pilots who train here.
Open from 0630 - 2230, the aerodrome is equipped with full ATC and Radar coverage which gives students invaluable experience on the radio.
In addition to this, because of the high volume of traffic, students are forced to adapt to traffic patterns and traffic monitoring - a valuable skill to learn from the very begining of your training career, and a difficult thing to master if training from a smaller airfield with less traffic.
Our club facilities are designed to provide a professional and friendly environment for our students.
We have a large, well equipped, club room where students and members prepare for their flights, socialise and relax, alongside our four briefing rooms and AME's office.
In addition to the above, Fly-LSA offers an outside airfield viewing area.
