CB Ir Course

Prerequisite

  • Minimum PPL(A) licence holder
  • Completion of at least 80 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction to the standard of an IR(A) knowledge level at an ATO within the preceding 18 months.
  • 50 hours total cross country PIC time - 10 hours must be in a fixed wing aircraft
  • Minimum of a class 2 medical (with audiogram)
  • 25 hours of dual IFR training logged
  • Pre-entry assessment

Credit for previous flying

Students who have previously flown PIC in IFR conditions may log up to 30 of their instrument flying hours against this course - shortening the total length of the course.
